Demi Quits Tour, Enters Treatment Center for “Issues”

Demi Lovato, who was on the road with the Jonas Brothers, has taken a major detour.

The 18-year-old Camp Rock star has checked into a treatment facility to, according to a rep for the actress, deal with issues that have evidently been plaguing her for awhile.

“She was in Peru and just couldn’t continue,” a source tells E! News.

“Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” a rep for Lovato said in a statement.

“Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.”

The source tells E! News that Lovato’s exhausting work schedule—-performing on the Jonases’ summer tour, promoting Camp Rock 2 and then going abroad for the international leg of the tour—”overwhelmed” and ultimately took its toll on her.

Lovato reinstated her Twitter account about a week after initially pulling the plug in September, but her account went dark again on Saturday.

Whatever is troubling the teen, we certainly hope she feels better soon!

Joe and Demi Share a Duet (VIDEO)

During the Jonas Brothers concert Sunday night in Mexico City, Joe Jonas sang a duet with his old flame and special tour guest, Demi Lovato. The song is called “Wouldn’t Change A Thing,” and it featured both of them on stage together.

The tour is on its last legs, finishing up in South America and last night was their final night in Mexico. The two previously sang the song together in March 2010 on American Idol and finally reunited again. Watch below and tell us what you think!

Demi Unfollowed Joe Jonas On Twitter

Uh oh. It seems that everything between the former BFFs AND former flames may not be going as well as they say. While Joe Jonas is still following his ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato on the social networking site Twitter, Demi has unfollowed Joe!

We have heard reports that Demi is upset with Joe because she thinks she lied to him about the reason for breaking up (he didn’t want such a public relationship). Turns out Joe is currently dating actress Ashley Greene, from “Twilight,” and their relationship seems even more public than Demi and Joe’s was – the only difference is Joe and Ashley aren’t talking about it, but they have been photographed out and about together WAY more than Joe and Demi ever were!

But you also have to remember, the only reason Joe and Demi were chatting up a storm in the media about their relationship was because the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” was about to air and in the movie they play a couple that is dating, and them talking about their real life romance was GREAT publicity for the movie – that is, until they broke up!
